I ordered a new hi vis from Vbandz on 27th April, the order is still showing in progress, and despite emailing twice, I am still to get a reply.

Any one else ordered recently, and had such a long wait, im aware it was prior to a bank holiday weekend, but I was hoping it would be here by now, my current high vis wont stay done up anymore
 
Yes I had a similar issue. I waited several weeks, and after no response to my emails, I raised a case with PayPal to get a refund. I got an email from Vbandz the same day as raising with PayPal, they thought they had sent my order but could not find a tracking ref. Offered to resend but as I was going away for two weeks there was no point, plus they had not responded to my prior emails to the same email address. Shame as I liked the products, I was replacing stuff I got from them 10yr ago. I ordered elsewhere in the end.

sadly, i haven't paid with Paypal, but with my debit card, so Im unsuere if I can get a refund
 
Fingers crossed they will eventually sort out your order for you. They’ve never been the quickest on delivery, but my orders have always arrived in the end. The products are great.

More cock up from them than conspiracy, I think, but you are right to be infuriated.
 
As far as I'm aware, it is just one woman running the business and she also makes the products. As someone who is running an online business solo, it's not easy to keep up with everything all the time, especially when you are busy. I don't always get to reading emails and I hardly ever get a chance to go through voicemails the same day.

The longest I have had to wait for a V-Bandz order was about six weeks. They have always turned up in the end.

It would help if she had something on her website to explain that some things are made to order and can take up to X number of weeks. I have done this with some products and it takes a lot of the pressure off and reduces the chances of problems arising from people getting chargebacks. Which isn't nice.
 
Or just let people know and respond to emails etc. Its not really on to take peoples money, and say nothing while weeks go by. Thats what gets people upset.
This really, which is why I decided not to place another order when I was back from being away. They were incredibly quick to respond once I had raised a case with PayPal, which I did 3 weeks after placing the order and getting no comms at all. Website does say to allow 10 days for delivery, but as I had no comms or items, I felt I had no choice but to ask for a refund.
 
You can do a chargeback after 30 days (assuming Mastercard. I don't know the Visa rules)

So a bit more waiting, but you will have no trouble getting your money back.
 
Update for you all - I finally had an email from them last week, to say they were waiting on a part to make the waistcoat, and apologies for the delay. I have received it in the post today, along with a free noseband/browband hi viz strap. Very pleased with it.

I do agree with others, maybe a note on the website, alerting people to the fact they are made to order and there may be delays.
