Anybody got any opinions on VDL Harley?

I was impressed with him jumping in the Gucci Masters. He'll be one I'll be considering for the future. He may be of interest to British breeders as he's AES approved, according to his VDL page and he's out of the Carthago Z mare Larthago who competed internationally and is the mother of Cevin Z. His sire is a relatively popular horse called Heartbreaker.

So ... any thoughts?

Like the look of him. Perhaps a little small? He had a good foal report from the KWPN, if I remember rightly. They recommended he be bred to long lined mares with scope and said he could improve jumping reflexes. Not seen him in the flesh though.

Another nice young son of Heartbreaker is Zambesi, standing at Nijhof. Same sort of size but a bit more blood in type. Has been used a lot in the Netherlands already.
