Veiwing Horses - Anybody else get nervous?

Am I the only one who gets nervous before veiwing horses?

With Dermot I was fairy nervous as everbody said he was way too big and far to much for me so they got it in my head I'd be too scared to even mount him and feel totaly over horses. After a quick stop at the pub

When I met him I felt totaly confident, and ridden didnt feel slightly over horsed, nerves melted away quickly and feel rather stupid looking back!

I'm going to view a horse later today, shes only 15.1hh ment to buck, rear and be tense and unsure. To be honest sounds like a showjumper, fine walk, tense in trot and settles in canter so sounds just like quite a few horses a ride. Got a few hopes on her *bad izzy looking a rugs already

* She sounds like a lovely project.

However still nervous!

I havent viewed a horse for myself in 4 years, however, i feel id be alot more confident about it now as ive viewed several for other people.

Admittedly I used to get VERY nervous, but not so bad now after viewing about 10 for other people.

I get a bit nervous before I as I worry, what if i isn't right or even what if it is!!! But I am a worry wort, so I just tell myself to shut up!

Me too! went to view one once and bolted in a 5 acre field with me, kept turning him to the point I thought he was going to fall over, soon as stopped, jumped off and sed no thanks!!

No way would I ride a horse with known probs if I was nervous about it, just not a clever thing to do IMHO

Just think, if you don't like the horse or if something bad happens you never have to sit on it or see it ever again!!

Btw, you sure you're not coming to see Bean!!??

i thin its natural to be a bit apprehensive as you cant take for granted what anyone tells you...
however although i dont know you that well i would advise against this horse as i know in previous pictures of you riding dermot you looked veyer tense...do you think you could get on with something that is going to buck/rear and whatever else?
just a thought.

I absolutley hate trying horses out, it is horrible.

Not so much nervous but very self conscious and quite a few have made me feel as if I'm total rubbish!

[/ QUOTE ] Yes thats what I'm scared of, I think I'll relise i'm a totaly pants rider and not be able to ride this horse at all, or the crowd of people which there tends to be will wonder why I even bothered coming to veiw!

Regarding the horse, Weezy you forget I was the kid who was put on everything, bucker, rearer, bolter, napper, rescue case etc before i brought my own projects. She sounded and looked to ride very much like a warmblood I ride atm. Her problems don't worry me, its just self consicous fear! Anyhow I posted the update in wrong place so its in the gallery.
