Velvet Browbands and Tweed Jackets........

Should they ever be used together, and for which classes if yes?
I always though tweed was for hunter type classes so a velvet browband wouldn't be appropiate, but I keep seeing pics of people wearing them together.
Can anyone enlighten me!

A tweed jacket is fine for a county show in riding horse/hack classes before lunch. Traditionally a dark jacket is worn in the afternoon.

If you think this is all really a**l, try side saddle its even worse!!

For ladies a tweed jacket with coloured browband is correct for all riding horse classes (before lunch or after), for gentlemen a tweed is worn in hack classes too.
