I'm trying to find plain velvet browbands- ie without the big rossettes etc and just 2 colours.

Robinsons only seem to have the really fancy ones. Where else could I look?

Is there a website where I could get them made?

They are a really really easy to make. Have a look in the yellow pages for wool/sewing shops and see if they have any velvet ribbon. Then just plait the ribbon round the brow band ( have it at 45 degrees to the brow band one starting at the top of the brow band and the other at the bottom). Then I used to have both tails of the ribbon ponting down and sew them together then cut a little triangle out the end of the ribbon. I used to have my horse in all sorts of colours back in my school days!!
