As per the title really, for those with Champion shaped heads, are there any other brands of vented hat you get on well with? I've read mixed reviews of how effective the venting is on the Champion hats (only have a bog standard one right now) so thought I'd look to branch out, but my head is most definitely Champion shaped.

Grateful for any suggestions :)

ventair - skull or hat. Slightly more shallow fitting so depends if you need a deeper fitting hat for your head shape.
x-air hat only, lovely smart hat, kids so no vat (though doesn't look kiddy iyswim?) deeper fit than the ventair.
air tech - their new adjustable one, hat only too. Looks ace, fits best if your size is in the middle of the size ranges.

I had champion ventair for years. However I didn't find them vented enough. I now have a gatehouse conquest. Very please with it BUT it's only minimum safety standard so only use it for schooling in arena. Standard is fine for competing regs
But I also have a protector which although doesn't look very ventilated is actually better than the champion
Fit wise I'm a 'champion' shapes head and both the above also fit nicely

I have a Champion Ventair. I am only a once-a-week RS rider so perhaps haven't tested it as fully as others, but I would say that it is some improvement on the standard, non-vented hats I've had in the past, though head still does get a bit sweaty - but not wringing wet like I used to get with my old non-vented hat. I really can't imagine that any PAS 015 standard hat would avoid sweaty-head completely as it's a fairly chunky bit of kit and there's only so many holes can be put in it. I imagine a BSEN 1384 hat would be more likely to be well ventilated (as per soulfull's recommendation) so I suppose choice somewhat depends on what standard you want/need.
