Verbinand bit vs KK uktra

Currently, I use a KK ultra (I think it is 16mm). My horse goes OK in it but it quite sensitive in the mouth with a 'thick' tongue. She gets a bit mouthy even when you half halt or take up a little too much contact. She doesn't go over bent or show resitance apart from in the mouth. I am wondering if there is a bit ie verbinand that would suite her better. Any suggestions welcome.

I use the verbinand on my mare, she hated the KK and she goes lovely, she is a typical warmblood with a thick tongue and sensitive mouth
