Verrry happy with my baby horsey today!!

Bit of a pointless post really but just though i'd share how happy i am with my girlie today.

Moved her to her new yard this morning, bit traumatic getting her to load but got there in the end. Anyway, got her off the box & had to lead down driveway as it's too small to get box down, walked her down the hill, past fields where the other horses were cantering around like loons, tails up looking at the new girl and she didnt even bat an eyelid. Looked up, briefly said hi to a pony over the fence then carried on, walked through huuuuge puddles without hesitation, it was like she wasn't in new surroundings or anything, she was so calm & took everything in her stride.

and she's only 2 1/2 as well. I hope she's this calm when it comes to backing. Cant wait to do XC in a few years time, cant see water being a problem, she loves it!

Anyway... proud mommy post over. hehe
