After months of lameness, x rays and nerve blocks and loads of time off work i have got another vet up to look at my horse and he has told me that the x rays that were done previous are non diagnostic!
so basically a waste of time? My poor horse was in agony after the vet pulled and hauled at her feet and actually fell over, now the new vet wants me to take her in to their surgery and get the nerve blocks and x rays re done as they can't see anything on the old ones as they are such poor quality!
so now i am very hacked off at having to put her through that again, worried that because the last ones were so bad something might have been missed and she has been in pain for so long when something could have been done about it.
and needless to say i am RAGING at the fact that the previosu vet misled me and did not tell me how poor quality the last x rays were and the fact that my insurance will not pay for double treatment so i will need to pay for the x rays and nerve blocks to be done again :-(
Anyone got any advice i am highly tempted to tell the old vet to stick her bill up her bum!!!!
