VERY brave fox!!

Lovely fox and funny that the dog seems completely nonplussed by him..I'm more surprised that the fox seemed not to be bothered by the bloke filming , but hey i'm just a country lass and i'm sure the city dwellers amongst you will tell me that they are brazen as anything.

Being an old spoil sport, unless it was a pet fox I am quite surprised the owner of the dog didn't chase the fox off if the fox had a go at the dog the dog would quite likely come off worse . I would actually be worried about a fox showing such untypical behaviour .

That is a beautiful fox. I'm not sure it is a chance encounter, I'm guessing the fox is well known locally - and owner probably remembered to take his camera out on that occasion.

This really isn't untypical behaviour for an urban fox - they are bold as brass! We saw two last night, just trotting along the pavement like dogs, totally unbothered by all the traffic etc, or by us. In our old flat, we had one which would come and sit on the roof of the shed, and it's pretty unusual for us to go out and not see a fox wandering about the streets even in the middle of the day. They aren't all as healthy looking as that one though!

I agree, I don't think this was a chance encounter, I am sure it is known locally. I keep meaning to take my camera to get some footage of them and forgetting.

Urban foxes and urban badgers both display what those more used to seeing them in the countryside would class as untypical behaviour - but it isn't really.

Lovely little fox.
I would be worried about my dog, but then again she has seen 2 off in the past, when we were out walking :) Only thing is she a soft as a brush and just ran that them wanting to play!! (Just to add I didn't know there were there, she ran at a bush and 2 came out)
