Very confused about shoeing?!

Ok so my horse had been getting cold shod for about 6 months but my old pony always got hot sohd and i figured that when theyre hot shod their feet are always filed better, so anyway i got my boy hot shod last time and since then he has lost 2 shoes!!!! Has anyone else noticed this with hot shoeing?? Will also speak to my farrier to get his opinion but would be interesting to know if anyone else has experianced this?

I tend to find that the shoes stay on better after being hot shod

Have you changed farriers at all?
I find as above, shoes tend to stay on better when hot shod.

Well it was one of his trainee guys who done him this time so i did actually think it could be that...:/
