I went hunting yesterday on my new horse, I was so pleased with her, she was very excited but not naughty or uncontrollable,
I havent been for about 12 years and I must say I was very dissapointed with what happened (it was a begginners meet) the majority of the feild decided to call it a day and say "goodnight" and left for home, 10 mins later more decided to go and then there was just me and my 2 friends left, after a few minutes of debating whether to continue and they decided that we would turn around aswell, we were unsure of the way back to the road so said we would follow (this guy who I believe was a feild master)
He proceded to gallop off to catch the others,
We are more than capable riders and able to keep up but the going was very boggy so slowed up a little as the others were now all within sight (and shouting distance),
Then ufortunatly somthing horrendous happened to my friends horse (mid gallop) he suddenly dissapeared up to his belly in a bog catapulting my friend out of the saddle,
luckily he got himself out and both horse and rider were fine.
We had just caught up with the rest of the hunt (that were returning home) but not one person stopped.
As we had reached the road we knew which way to get back. all be it the long way round.
When we finally returned back to the meeting place, every one had already returned and was happily eating away. Needless to say we did not stay. just wanted to get our horses home.
