Hi all,
Just have to share the news as I am very excited. Poppy passed her gonioscopy on Thursday which was the last health test she needed for breeding. (All her other required and suggested tests are fine as well). So I then contacted the owner of the stud dog I want to use and after checking Poppy out and the genetics of a mating between our dogs on the anadune border collie database she agreed to let Poppy see him when she comes into season next which will probably be at the end of the year!!

I think he is ever so handsome and sounds like his temperament is gorgeous as well!!
(For anyone worried I am only having a litter as I want to keep a bitch myself rather than to make money. With all his problems I am not sure when I may have to make the horrid decision about Shadow and I don't want Poppy on her own. I also already have someone at agility that is impressed with Poppy and wants a dog puppy. All puppies homes will be fully checked out. Home will be more important than money.)

) has said she is happy for me to use him . Very similar situation to you, I just want to keep a bitch, sadly I lost my old girl last week and neither Evie or I are very happy at her being a lone dog.
