Well, I had a very exciting day all round...went to try out a double ride-and-drive share today...a baby just-backed coblet who needs extra pair of hands to give time and keep him on the straight and narrow and will also drive and a stapping chestnut warmblood mare who already drives - goes at a spanking trot, which was very exhilarating and slightly terrifying! Took the reins for my first little go - even more exhilarating and even more slightly terrifying! If we're both happy to go ahead with the share I'll have riding and driving to enjoy. How cool is that??

I then got back to mine and
rolleyes:sad horsegirl alert here
) my first hay delivery had arrived and been installed in our part-time stable - just opening the door and seeing the bales all stacked there and smelling the lovely hay-y smell gave me a warm glow of satisfaction. I realise this is deeply sad. But it's a smell I associate with horses-and-all-things-nice and not to mention it means I've got winter food for my boy and won't be struggling to get hay deliveries in the snow like I was last year!!
AND loan pony for small daughter arrives on Tuesday...my horsey world is full of excitements right now!!!!!!!
I think I may actually burst - I now just need to pull myself together to put in an ace performance at an interview tomorrow for a big contract to keep it all paid for!!!!!!!!!!
