So with Heidi losing her pregnancy back in November and her biopsy results coming back as Kenney & Doig IIB (aka 10 - 50% of a live foal being born) we've decided not to try again with her. However the stud have offered us a 50% discount on any of their stallions that is valid until 2029.
In 2027 I'll be doing my final year of uni and was considering either putting my youngster on loan so I can study and not be distracted by horsey stuff, however we have our own land we could potentially put her in foal.
She'd be 7 then, and I don't think her having a year or two off whilst I finish up uni and try to find employment would be a bad thing.
She is by Numero Cruise and out of a full TB mare by Classic Cliche. 75% blood, good conformation, temperament and paces, the only things I think could be improved is her jump technique as she's currently not got the tidiest knees. (Though obviously with her being a youngster still this could change as she matures, fills out and develops more muscle and experience) and also a bit more bravery (though again, this is likely to change with experience.)
She's a very different type to Heidi, who was put to Diarado to try and refine her build, add blood and improve her scope.
So I'm not sure whether to stick with him or try any of the other PS stallions, I quite like the look of Baloutaire, but didn't choose him for Heidi as I was worried foal would end up too big, however Gi is significantly finer built and also a bit shorter at about 16.1 (maybe a half inch taller? I've not measured her though) so that cross might work out nicely as from what I've seen Baloutaire would definitely improve the jump.
Foal would be for me to keep and basically be a high end amateur type horse, I'd ideally like to jump 1.30 SJ or 2* eventing but likely no higher, would also like the temperament to be able to do dressage up to medium or elementary, fun rides, hunter trials, beach rides, and maybe the odd showing show here or there.

I also really really like Duplexx however this would have to be as a potential second goal as he's not owned by the stud that I have the discount with. Similarly, Jaguar Van De Berghoeve who's an Emerald son jumping at 1.60 iirc.

But basically TL;DR, I'm seeking opinions on:

For before the end of 2029:

Diarado (when combined with more blood type mares)

Baloutaire

Any other potentially suitable Schockemohle stallions

For a later date provided everything goes successfully:

Duplexx

Jaguar Van De Berghoeve

Also any other suggestions on potentially suitable alternatives would be appreciated, thank you

Not sure if they are an option for you with the stud you have used, but have you looked at Future Sport Horses? Future Gravitas in particular is very nice, but they are all quality stallions with their own competition records and excellent family trees. Might be worth a look.

For me, on paper, you have Numero Uno who is sharp, Cruising who is spooky and I wouldn’t want to add in Balou blood as well as he is sharp and spooky!
I think Diarado has a better jump than Duplexx and they are brave. I’d probably just stick with him. I love an Emerald so Jaguar is a good call and that will be super neat in front, plus the Nabab blood will add in more rideability

She's not actually that sharp surprisingly, but she is quite spooky though so I agree the Balou probably isn't far back enough for that to not be a worry, maybe suitable for a pro, but not for me lol

Future Gravitas was one I considered for Heidi last year, but ultimately decided against as he isn't stocked by the semen agent we have the contract with which would've made shipping and paperwork a bit more difficult for us as first time breeders
