I would probably read lack of brakes, but he might be just what you are looking for! You never know till you go see it! We had a very forward going pony arrive at our yard, having dutch gag, grakle etc on, she now rides him in a flash and a full cheek happy mouth snaffle and is much better! He was obviously running from the poll pressure!

What soemone would describe as very forward going may not be for someone else, i'd enquire further! I would have said mine was very very laid back but then the producers dont think he is at all they think he is forward going

I would describe my new mare as very forward going but she has brakes and isnt strong.Sometimes you can read more into it than you should.

Hi Breezey,
I have advertised my pony as forward going. He has never bolted in his life. He is ridden in a snaffle and does not need anything stronger. However, he is forward going. He will get quicker and quicker (if allowed). He will definately take you into a jump. I have had people ringing asking if he would be suitable for a novice rider!
