Just got back from baby ponys first ever solo hack - she was an absolute star ! Ears pricked all the way round - a bit sticky in parts but nothing major - we passed pigs, cyclists and scary fluorescent newspaper boy trolleys and she never batted an eye. Clever pony

! I am so pleased with her ..

I'm a novice rider so have never hacked a baby but have been out on my sensible pony with friends when they have hacked out youngsters for the first time, a bit nerve-wracking but so rewarding

I would like to think she is starting to trust me but I have only had her 2 weeks so I do think a lot of it is down to her fantastic temperament. She came to me from the breeder so has had quite a sheltered life, which is why Im so pleased with her for being so brave
