Lucky indeed, but there is no way that puppy would have been playing in the garden, it's eyes were not even open! Looks like the children have been allowed to play with the puppies a little like toys. Unless of course he is not that age (doubt it) cos he also is not a cocker spaniel!
Very very glad the poor little thing is OK, and I hope that mother now stops the children treating animals like toys.
haha! Urgh vile child - Completely agree, what a load of crap about it playing in the garden. Also have they not taught their horrible children anything? Since when do you flush something down a toilet to clean it?!
the puppy would not have been in the garden to get muddy, at a week old, surely? the kid did it on purpose, and unfortunately he has gotten LOADS of attention because of it (instead of a smack for being an evil cruel little git, imho), is anyone placing any bets on those puppies all surviving...?
Ghastly child!
And no doubt, equally ghastly parents - are the press so desperate?
Poor little pup, I sincerely hope that it finds a new home soon........

I agree. Not a Cocker and no way was the puppy playing anywhere at a week old with closed eyes and barely able to move.
I first viewed my puppy at three weeks old and he barely moved about, he certainly wasn't running around like he was two weeks later at five weeks.
