Just been riding a 4yo colt at work. It was raining so i rode him in the indoor school, another girl asked if she could bring a mare in. I said it was fine as long as she kept her distance, BIG mistake!. Trotting round fine then from nowhere he stood straight up and stayed there for ages boxing with his front legs while i clung on like a monkey!!
Told other girl to take mare away but he wouldn't settle kept rearing
so i got off before i fell off and lunged him for 20 mins then got back on. Cue repeat rearing performance, smacked him forwards so he sets off bucking!. Then my boss came in and got at me for not riding him well enough, by now i was so mad with horse and boss that i just got my bum well stuck in saddle and wellied him round and round till he was knackered.
Anyway pointless post really but i have ridden a lot of naughty horses over the years but this one really does take the biscuit!, i really think he needs to loose the balls, he is a very well bred potential showjumper, how is going to go to shows like that!
