Very nervous thoroughbred - traumatic loading experience

Hi guys!
I own a beautiful and usually very calm and placid thoroughbred mare. I decided to move her yards yesterday, and unfortunately she was terrible at loading. After 3 hours of very gruelling yard teamwork we got her loaded and into her new home. It's a much busier yard, and I know it's only been one day, but she seems very uneasy and incredibly spooky when she's outside her stable. She paces and has started to cowkick, which she's never done before. This is all incredibly uncharacteristic of her, and I wanted to ask advice. Is this normal when moving a horse to a different yard, or after a traumatic loading experience? Is there anything I can do to make this experience less traumatic for her? I have put her on OE Stress supplements and she is in love with her new feeder toy, but she just seems very nervous and spooky right now...

I have a Thoroughbred x, and to be honest he is quite a nervous horse anyway, but I have to say when moving yards he does take at least a few days to get over his new yard jitters. I would give her a week and get into a routine as soon as you can and see how she goes.

I hope your mare has settled now. I think we underestimate how change can affect our horses. My horse who is 7/8ths TB was very quiet for several weeks when I bought him, just went into himself, 2 years on, I have a very different horse. Happier but a bit more challenging. I remember turning him out for the first time in his new home and he just put his head down and eat, now he's happy to have a hooley. they are all different.
