Very painful end to today

I've had a lovely day, the sun has shone all day and I had a fantastic flatwork lesson on my boy. Then just as I thought things were good, one of the other horses on the yard lunged over the stable door at me and bit me really hard on my boob! He broke the skin and it's mega painful, and still bleeding slightly. All because he decided he didn't like the horse in the stable nextdoor to him and he was a bit peed off! He's on loan to us at the mo and is pretty scatty at the best of times. Think he maybe going back to his owner!!!!

Ouch! I was annoyed enough when my friend's horse bit my knee this evening. Having a bitten breast doesn't bare thinking about.

I dont know what to do with myself, it's so painful, guess I wont be sleeping much tonight, I like sleeping on my front too dammit!!

You would think with the spring grass coming through at last, they would all be happy little ponies!
Small son has been bitten twice within 48 hours (once on the belly by Little Stig, and once on the shoulder....not Little stig....he cant reach that high, even on a six yr old!)

ouch - I know how much this hurts, about four years ago my little pony lunged at another pony that I was leading to bite him mouth full open and low and behold she missed and got me right on my boob - my god it made me cry it hurt so much and the next morning it was absolutely black and blue, hurt for days and days, mine bled too - I was really worried but eventually the bruising went, took ages though. hope you heel soon.

Thank you hun, I always have a bottle of wine knocking about the house, but just when I could do with some, I don't have any!!! Grrr!

I have every sympathy with you, I still have a very large and sore lump filled with fluid on my buttock from where I got in the way of a bite aimed for another horse almost 2 months ago. If you have arnica then take it but definitely take painkillers tonight to make sure that you can get some sleep. I know how hysterical I got because of the pain and Im sure yours must have been much worse.
