Just a pointless post but am so pleased with my boys progress today.
Had joints medicated few days ago and has been on box rest since. Today he was allowed turnout and could start hacking. Due to risk of laminitis with steroids decided to limit grazing for a few days.
He was turned out for 2hr this afternoon and was suprising chilled and well behaved. Came in again happily. Tacked up and went for a 15 min plod up lane as per vet instructions. Was expecting idiot horse but he was an angel.
Was pleased with how he felt, still slightly stiff to start with but soon loosened off and wasn't coming through with one hind as much as other but this had improved dramatically since couple of week ago.
Didn't think would feel a difference so soon so hoping this is a good sign?
