Well she did her first test away from the yard - and only done 2 tests there - so was a bit daunting for us both. I was feeling sick last night and this morning (think it was nerves) but shouldn't have worried as she was a little star. She travelled well - is only 15 mins down road though - came off perfect and then stood munching hay very quietly whilst I tacked up. She was an angel through the busy car park full of strange objects - like builder's sacks and brightly coloured mounting blocks.
In the warmup/collecting ring she only put her ears back once and only shyed from the wheelchair ramp (was RDA venue) a couple of times. In the test arena she didn't spook at anything and there were lots to see from huge mirrors, white boards, people watching
and during the test leaves falling down like confetti in front of her from the ceiling.
We weren't perfect....her being resistant and me being...me but we got 59% in a test we only practised yesterday afternoon and have never done in test situation before so was very happy with her and her behaviour. She got some nice comments too (and I got 'nice quiet riding'
)
Sorry to go on but am so pleased with her...we have come so far this year. Just a couple of pics as OH is blaming light for blurring the others
