Took my boy for an in hand hack tonight all by himself and he was as good as gold, and actually seemed to enjoy himself!

He has been very difficult for the last couple of weeks, and me attempting this a week a go would have resulted in him napping, rearing, neighing out to other horses and barging into me.

I started him on rig calm 3 days ago and wonder how much of this new quiet confidence he has is to do with this? I hope it continues! :D

Oh well done! It feels like a major achievement doens't it when something goes right after everything seems to have gone wrong. Well done for persevering....as the owner of a mare who enjoys a view of the world from her back legs I know how worrying it can be! Fingers crossed that it continues! :)

Yes he seems to have perfected his rearing technique so when he goes up he just stands on his back legs for what seems like minutes waving his front legs around (and probably laughing at me too!!)

I think we have all learnt over the last few weeks that too much grass makes him EVIL!!! Lol
