In our lesson today he got rein back, he's really struggled with it. Anyway today he got it 
I gave the aids and felt him shift his weight slightly back so big praise, asked again and took a step back, big praise and then finally backed two steps ))
Redeems him slightly to the fact he gave me a six inch long and two inch wide bruise to my thigh on Monday night!!
