So a few weeks ago I bought a trailer.
The first outing was due to be today to a fun charity ride, but the friend who was due to keep me company dropped out and I considered not going.
But I decided to be brave so this morning I loaded my girl and towed about 20 miles. I was meeting friends at the ride and all our horses were fab and none of them put a foot wrong and we had a great day out.
I have had my girl just under 2 years and she is still quite young and green. We have been to local shows a couple of times on a friends lorry, but never a fun ride and I have never travelled her alone.
She just took everything in her stride, stayed calm and popped a couple of logs beautifully as a bonus.
I'm so proud of both of us. We are now fully independent and the world is our oyster.
