Glad to hear you're getting on the right track :)

Just be wary riding her in it full time as I find they tend to have a shelf-life before they learn to ignore them and get a bit heavy in them.

Agree with Binky01 about not over using the pelham. Not sure if you've looked at your thread about the xc courses, but you've been given some advice on there too ;)

No problem, but I would be careful with the pelham when jumping, because unless you have soft and forgiving hands over the fences, even if the horse does a weird jump or a cat leap, your horse will be pulled in the mouth, and the pelham won't be as forgiving as a snaffle :) (though I'm sure you'll be fine with an instructor helping you :D )

oh thats a good point thats why i ask for a lesson to jump cause i dont wana hurt her but 99 % of the time now i have control i can sort out the stride so hopefuly it will be ok
thank you x

Yeah yeah, I know you're going the right way about it, and getting help into how to use it affectively, but just thought i'd remind you that the stronger the bit, the harsher it'll be in the horses mouth if it all goes t*ts up :p

When your horse runs off is he very heavy I have used a dublin waterford for a short period and it worked wonders then gone back to snaffle:) when I felt my horse was becoming heavy again I put him back in the waterford for roughly few days to week and that helped my horse:). Though again with any bit u need to be as light as poss in your hands.:D

Yeah haha, glad to see your taking the correct steps towards it. I would imagine that if you've got gentle hands, and you don't accidently pull her in the mouth in just a snaffle, then jumping her in a pelham shouldn't really be any different, just that when you do mess up, try and let your reins slide through your fingers or throw your hands forwards so that you're giving her the slack of the reins, and even if you are really left behind, Ebony won't be tugged ;)

Edit: I totally agree about the videos!

good :D fianlly getting there mee and my flea bag lol
yes i wouldt hurt her poor little mouth atm
when she spooks i just give me reins and make them a tad loose incase she pulls against me and then she wont get pulled in the mouth :)
Thanks guys :)

And i will get videos soon thanks :D x
