Today, hubby and I took my very special pony to his new home. It is very very sad for me, but I truly believe the best thing for for him. He has gone to a fantastic home where I am sure he will be loved and well cared for.

However... we did not bring home an empty horsebox. Oh no...instead, my hubby became the new owner of an over 14hh ride and drive...

Mule.

Piccies to follow.

Horrid to have to part with them, but lovely for you to have found the right home!!

Was the mule part of the plan when you set out?

Yes, it is the pony in my avatar. He is already settling in well. This morning he was groomed by an almost three year old and his mum, then went for a walk with the owner pushing a buggy, buses passing close (they have a lunatic bus driver there - we met him!!) and he was fab.
Getting the mule was certainly not my choice, buy hubby somehow took a fancy to him!
His name is Wingnut, he is over 14.1hh (need to measure him) and six years old. he seemed very happy with hubby's cob this morning.

. Just out of curiousity..can mules compete BHS?

Morrigan, I'm sorry but I have absolutely no idea if they can compete BHS. The lady we boguht him from has another called Widget and she does just about everything with her.

Back-2-black, please tell me more about your mule, she has a lovely glossy coat
