My horse has had very slight heat in one leg and hoof for a few days now - no lameness, no soreness - just a tiny bit warmer than the other legs. She has been stuck in a lot because of the snow but after she has been moving, the legs are all the same temperature.

She is slightly prone to thrush so wondering if it could be that, though I can't really detect any infection.

What would you do? Keep working her or rest her?

My firends TB on our yard her back foot gets warm when stood in for long peroids and if in for extremely long time it does swell unless bandaged. She is actually better when worked and if she gets a malk in hand daily it does improve, again she does get thrush in that leg so it could be linked. Espec standing in her stable as its a huge mess
