A friend of mine has a lovely 7yr old TB who suffers from EPSM, which she is managing well.
However, last year in the winter he developed incredably soft perioples/coronet band, so much so that her vet thought he might 'lose his hooves'!!!!
Luckily he recovered (I didn't know them then), but it looks like he is developing it again. Naturally, Jo is extremely worried, and scared.
Has anyone ever experienced this, or has any advice to pass on.
She is feeding biotin, and using NAF hoof stuff, and Kevin Bacon. The horse's hooves are in good condition, and he holds his shoes well.
