I'm doing a walk and trot dressage test. The test says that you have to walk for "one horses length" before returning to trot. Now I can guess roughly what one horses length is, but I'm guessing there is a true correct length and that my horse should take only a certain amount of strides, does anyone know the answer please??

thank you

One of the judges I write for told me 3 to 5 strides so if you go for 5 be sure to push up into trot on the 5th stride so that you don't lose marks. Good luck. :)
