So just over a month since we bought Mr Skinny back after 6 months of 'care' having sold him.

I'll be honest, he was such a good doer when we had him my sister and I wondered if there actually was something wrong with him. I am pleased to say there doesn't seem to be at all!

So these were taken on the 17 june by which point he was staring to act much more like himself, even if he didn't look much like it.

A couple of days later when he started walking out

Later that week his old loaner and half her yard came up to see him with a goodie box, food, treats and all kind of bits. My sister and I were blown away by their generousity.

He had his teeth sorted and did some more eating!

And a month and a day after he came back, a gentle ride around the school looking fabulous!

Thank you all for your support on my previous thread.

It's nice to have him back, missed his silly grey snout around the place anyway. :)

I've been there and it's such a worry isn't it :( He's looking so much better and I hope he continues to improve :)

just caught this thread, I hadn't seen your first one. I just wanted to say well done, he looks fantastic now. cant believe someone could allow him to get to the state he was in, and apparently think it was ok. lucky boy that you got him back!

well done, I've got a tear in my eye seeing those pics, he is looking so well :)
I too got one back of loan looking like a hat rack and its heartbreaking that someone can do that to your beloved horse xx

Thank goodness, thank goodness you found him and rescued him. Absolutely dread to think what state he might be in by now otherwise. You are obviously a really caring person and also know what you are doing! He looks great and I am so pleased for you and him. :) x

What happened to him is truly dreadful, but what an incredibly lucky boy that you happened to see that picture. He is starting to look good again!

When they improve so quickly it really does make you wonder what they were doing to keep them so poor before doesn't it :(.

Landed on his feet again at least though ;)

What a transformation and such a lucky boy to have found himself back with an owner who cares. Hope the people who bought him are looking at that last picture and feeling thoroughly ashamed of themselves.:(

This, the fact it was so quick and easy to rectify with proper care makes it even more disgusting and inexcusable that someone made him get into that state!

Congratulations on having your chap back as he should be!!
