Just had to post, I'm so happy with my boy

I rode him yesterday (after two weeks of being cooped up in his box because of the snow) and he was foot perfect

We seem to have had a bit of a breakthrough in the last month or so, after 3 years of trying and failing, we've finally learnt to work in an outline consistantly. I've always struggled to get an outline with him far more than any other horse, but somehow in the space of about a week he miraculously learnt (mostly thanks to a girl who works at the yard who's been riding him). Not entirely sure what happened, but he suddenly decided that yes, now was the time he was going to admit that he'd known what to do all along

Gives you such a buzz when things come together dosnt it,did me too many yrs ago with my boy,lol,months and months of thinking we would never be a ridden match then it all clicked

Yep, I'm definately going to have to try and come out again at least once before the end of the season, it was brilliant last time!

Might have to rethink his bit though, he had a really sore mouth after last time, he got a bit too strong and I had to fight him a bit
