Vestibular Syndrome / Disease

Hi, We have just had a mare diagnosed with this illness, Sunday we thought she would have to be put down, but now on steroids & antibiotics she is improving. Has anyone had previous experiance in treating this illness, any long term effects, does it re occur etc? and help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is probably of little help, but yes had an elderly labrador diagnosed with this condition.

He was given a "pick me up" by the vet and adapted within a few days. Sadly he had other health issues and was pts within 3 months. I knew someone at the time who had a colleague with vestibular, and that was recurring.
