For a change from normal OMG how much mine is a Is that all lol

2 visits including one to examine swollen leg,

Then one for annual jabs inc vat £96.57

vet spent 3 hours with us in total over the 2 visits

mind you I don't suppose he charged me for the tea, chat and hugs :D

I wish my vet charged like that! I'd have an extra '0' on the end despite tea, biscuits etc. Don't think I could do the cuddles - maybe that's how you've got such a good deal!!
My bargain bill was five days treatment, drugs, twice daily examinations & IV antibiotics at a CCI3* where my horse was injured in transit (dozed off & fell under the partition & hurt his leg - cue stop at McD's for a bucket of ice, no fries!) Bill was a staggering £32! We were pondering taking the injured horse home but we had two others running so he stayed at the event - my vets call out would have exceeded the entire bill from the event vet!

Bargain ! I paid £140 last week for 2 jabs a visit and a micro chip - used to get visits free for things like this but have moved 1 junction further up the motorway and now not included in the zone :-(

Which vet do you have? £96 for three visits including vaccs? I'd be paying £75 min for a visit and examination.

It is a bargain!! I had a bill for £70 for the vet to come & sedate for clipping. Must have been there no more than 5 mins, & I'm only 8 miles from the surgery!!!

I'll have to try coffee and hugs - see if it reduces my bills:D

Had a horse pts recently - charged £26 for call out (5 minute drive), £62 to "do the deed" and £32 for medicines/consumables:eek:

Maybe he gave me cuddles for horse having a swollen leg, then next visit cuddles cos I have to have more surgery

has to be TEA lol and we are 35 mins away :D

soulfull - Marry him!

Oh I wish, wasn't that kind of hugs, he is a lovely lovely guy and his wife and kids are nice too

My most shockingly inexspensive vet bill was one that I expected to go up into the £400 mark - these vets are notorious for being exspensive! I only ever have them out to one of mine as they treated him as a racehorse in training too. He had 2x call out, 2x lameness exams, a round of sedation, tendon scans done, bandaging and a 7 day course of bute. A grand total of £210. Considering that the scans themselves are £80 a pop it really wasn't that bad!
