Hi, I have a question regarding a bill and just wondering where I stand?
Our vet has an arrangement with another practice to cover weekends and holidays. Recently our vet was on holidays and we had to use the vet from the other practice.
When I received our bill yesterday which included a visit from our usual vet plus the other vet. The other practice charged more for everything, the visit, administering the same drug. They also charged 40euro to put a pad on the horse's hoof, bearing in mind that it was my duct tape and I had prepared the polystyrine.
Surely if she is covering our vets work, she should charge the same or we should be made aware of the difference in price?
I have never questioned a vet bill before, but her bill came to almost 100e in comparison to his which came to 60e, that is a huge difference for the same treatment and drugs?
