Do you think vet bills have got worse since insurance. They now think they can charge whatever they like as the bill is being picked up by someone else.

We had a horse treated at Langford and they said it would be X amount, we said horse isn't insured the amount halved
 
I completely agree with you. I mentioned a little tale about a kitten I had, on the other thread, and because she wasn't insured the vet treated her for months for free.....now someone must be paying for things like that! And my bet would be it's the insurance companies....which makes you wonder about the cost of insurance eh?

My horses are insured but i pay the vet bills lol. My vet is really good, yesterday i had my foals injected and the mares (tetnus), a scan, teeth done and injections for 2 horses for only £95!! That included the call out charge
