Had vet out earlier today to horse i got back from loan, and he said he isn't lame but he is worried why there is still so much swelling after it has been like this for a week, and that it is still an infection and when he squeezed it it started weeping clear liquid. He said if he had have been lame on it he would have done x-rays today but he did seem really worried about him incase it may spread into the joint.
He has given him an injection of strong antibiotics and some powder form of antibiotics and a antiseptic spray for his leg and he wants us to phone him 1st thing on tuesday and if its no better he is going to do x-rays on it.
He has said no ridden work until after tuesday and then just gentle walking and to think his loaner was going to take him galloping on the beech on saturday and said there was nothing wrong with it

So now we have to keep everything crossed that the infection doesn't spread and he recovers well
