Cant say I blame him!
She said he's got to go on box rest and took some blood to test and will ring me later with the results. She also gave him an injection of pain killers and anti-inflamitry and gave me some bute and stuff for the next week.
Once the blood results are back in, we can go from there, but she reckons he'll prob be on box rest for about 10 days!

My Poor Baby.

I hope his bloods return to normal quickly.

Do you know why he tyed-up? has he ever had ERS before?
Has your vet given you any advise - diet, electrolytes, turn-out, exercise.

Good luck

Thank you everyone.

We dont know for sure why he tyed up, but he was going nuts in the field the other day, so that could have some thing to do with it, but he's never had it b4 and he is in quote hard work.
Only advise so far is to keep him on box rest, but we'll no more when we've got the blood test results later. Will keep you all posted.

Oh no poor Arch!! Is he any better after a few days' box rest? When will you get the blood results back? Fingers crossed for him! I think he just wanted to get out of going to Moulton, he seems to have an uncanny knack!! xx
