Posted on your other post,
I can recommend Simon Woods of Lower House Equine - although based Shropshire he often goes to Geoff Billingtons (Nantwich) - usually once a week I think..
He is a Team GB vet (he was one of the vets at the quarantine base for Tokyo this year) and his specialism is performance and lameness issues.
Depends where in Cheshire the horse is I guess. I had a not so great experience with Nantwich vets when trying to arrange JMB measuring, the receptionist was very rude and disinterested.

With that purchase price I would send my own vet in. Your own vet knows you well and knows your expectations and hopes for the new horse.

Nantwich vets. That is my regular practice, they are excellent.

ETA I have never known any of the receptionists to be anything other than friendly, competent and professional, and I have been using that practice for nearly 40 years since it really was based in the centre of Nantwich ?‍♀️.
