Vet recommendations - Gloucestershire

I'm looking to get a horse vetted in Gloucestershire, between Cirencester and Chippenham. I'm not from that area so can anyone recommend one for me to use? TIA

Really recommend Tim or Tom Campbell at Bourton Vale Equine Clinic- he does all the vetting at Badminton ECT so is pretty good

Bourton Vale Equine is cheapest call out to the area (I spent 20mins on the phone a few weeks ago calling round!)
As mentioned Tom Campbell v.good
Also really like Tim from Summerhill but the call out is literally twice as much

B&W in Willesley would be the closest I think, and are the best vets in the world. I used them for YEARS and when I moved to Hampshire for work my wonderful vet from B&W was the one who drove almost three hours to come and put my horse down for me. I just couldn't let anyone else do it!

Unfortunately Three Counties don't actually cover some of the area. I contacted them after your reco but they don't come to me I may of course not be right where op is wanting so may still be worth a check?

I do think you have to be realistic and consider what the horse actually is. If I was buying high value I would be sending my own vet regardless of distance or expense and I would be present at the vetting. With a bargain basement purchase I would send the nearest equine vet who had been recommended by experienced people and I would not bother to go myself.

I agree. This is for a Welsh section D for my mum to have a bit of fun with. We've already seen him trotted up etc and he looks fine, so we're mainly concerned with eyes, heart, lungs, that sort of thing.
