Vet thinks she feels tumours

So vet was out yesterday to dose my mare for fluke as she is extremely underweight and wont improve. She was checking if she was in foal when she found a lump, and then more and more, she mentioned tumours and my heart sank. Shes being scanned monday morning, what else could it be? ulcers? cysts? Scar tissue from a previous foal?


Ive only owned her for 4 months and have battled to get her healthy. Her bloods came back last week normal, her heart is normal, her gum and eye colour is fine. Shes eating food by the buckets, hay 24/7 but no improvement. She has no quality of life, she looks depressed.

I can't help I am afraid, I hope Monday goes well but remember tumors doesn't mean cancer they can be benign. I am keeping everything crossed for you xx
