I have a 20 year old ID x TB (ex International Grand Prix show jumper) who I've been bringing back into work over the last 18 months. He's fit and well so I thought I'd have some fun over the summer (what summer ?) doing the odd local riding club shows. Now, he's not a show horse and his jumping days are over (although he loves the odd 'pop' here and there) so I thought I'd do some in hand and ridden veteran classes.
However, never having done a ridden veteran class, I'm not sure what is expected. Plus, my tack is not matching - brown bridle, black saddle - do you think that would matter.
I could also do some senior (thats me as well as him) equitation classes, but again, never done them, so don't know what the form is.
Any help appreciated.
