veteran horse classes

Please can anyone help me, I entered a veteran horse society class and was told that I should have had a disk with her age on her bridle then I saw other horses with a red VHS disk does anyone know where I can get 1 as I'm entered at a couple more shows this season.

I made mine out of a piece of cardboard. Otherwise you can buy them from the VHS or use dressage ones. I qualified for the regional finals with my cardboard one (although I did make it look quite neat) - then you loop it onto the throatlash.

thanks for the advice. We are not members yet but are looking into it, do you know when the new season starts? we will join for the new season. I noticed people getting cards signed are they to qualify for the regionals? when are the regionals held? I've seen the 2 day show at the end of oct advertised im thinking of entering if you do well at this and get through to the evening peformance will it be top hat and tails?

I did it the last two years with my old boy and had a great time!! I was lucky to get through to the regionals both times. It was very different to the eventing that we did previous but good fun!! The regionals for me were at Addington but im in Berks so im not sure where yours will be. I nearly got through to the evening (i was 2nd- beaten by 1 mark) but you just had to do the same again eg not top hat etc!! The new season normally starts march/april time. thanks, Im in Derbyshire and had our 1st go at the veteran class athe the weekend and we won and went reserve champion my horse is an arab and she just floats along the jugde really liked her, we do all the pure bred arab classes at county and we are doing really well.
