Veteran horse insurance

Hi everyone,

My boy is turning 20 next year, and our current insurer (NFU) don't offer any kind of illness cover for horses over 20.

Does anyone have any experience / advice on insuring an older horse? I'd like to keep some illness cover if possible.

I've heard that PetPlan offer illness cover up to 25.

I think you have to insure before the age of 20 with petplan to get a full policy. I don’t know if any other companies who offer this Or not.
