I was just wondering really, are there any shows that have a lot of veteran classes? The majority of shows near me if any, have only one veteran show, and the horses entered are so different to each other, it just goes on which breed the judge prefers! My mare is 27, almost 28, and she is not really allowed in any of the main classes as she is too old - other than the novelty classes! :o
So, as the title says, are there any veteran shows out there? thanks ;)

Look on the veteran horse society website for the veteran showing link. If you can find a show near you with vhs classes there will be an in hand and a ridden class for you. Your horse will be in the oldest age group, for 25+ :)

Just the veteran horse society really.

However there is no reason why you cant enter other classes.

Our show cob (22) has been champion family horse/pony several times over the years.

My oldie (36) has actually been placed in cob classes in his late twenties.

In fact he managed a clear round at 34 :D

And the equitation classes shouldn't take the age of the horse into account at all.
