I was thinking of doing some of these classes this year, but I really don't understand the website. Where are the qualifiers?

Can anyone help?

You don't have to be a member to go to the shows, but you do have to be a member to qualify i.e. if you came 1st and wasn't a member, the qualification would go to the next person or the next whoever is the member

What you do is you go to the show, qualify for the regional final (hopefully) then if you are placed 1st or 2nd there (I think) you qualify for the Nationals at Olympia

With dressage it's basically the same, but the Nationals are at Area UK

Why don't you ask Chantal, she did it with Gee Gee when I was there? From what I gathered you didn't need to be a member just join within a few days at qualifying then you have to be in top two or three in regional to qualify for final, think Pinkmead ran qualifiers at their shows. Also try Jo in the tack shop, she's been champion before. Jo said that qualifing in the South was really hard as lots of people did it so she used to travel a little further to another area. Anyway ask her or Chantal.

You have to be a member and the horse registered at least 14 days BEFORE the show in order to be eligable to qualify. You also need to have your membership card and your horses showing card in the ring with you at the show before they will give you the qualification.
They are VERY strict on this!

The top 3 in each class at the qualifier will qualify for the regional. then ONLY the champion from each regional goes forward to the final at olympia!
