I was given samples at Olympia, and having read the info leaflet am wondering if its as good as its claimed to be.
So has anyone tried it, what did you use it for, and what did you think of it?

After reading some good reviews I went out and got some (Mole Valley sell it) to try it on my TB's manky heel sores. First application this afternoon. I'll come back with an update next week.

I've tried all sorts of stuff before without much success.

We'll see if this stuff lives up to the hype! ;o)

Hokay. I've been spraying it on everyday-twice a day for the first couple of days. It's working! Nothing else I've tried has had such a positive effect, the sores have stopped smelling and started to dry up, they're shrinking (some more than others-the worst two are taking a bit longer) and they have proper scabs on them instead of the gross mushy ones!

Definately a thumbs up from me. My only complaint is that there is a lot of wastage, as you have to spray quite a bit on in order to wash the wound out and a fair amount ends up on the ground-not good at nearly £30 a bottle. I have heard that there is a gel version, but that might only be available in the U.S.

Unfortunately I can no longer conduct a fair test, as my horse has developed lymphangitis and is on antibiotics for the time being. Still using the Vetericyn though as it was working really well. Maybe this will be the end of the manky heels. I hope so!!

Cheers,

BM.
