Veterinary clinic's in Essex

I am looking for some recommendations please.
I am moving to Essex in June and want to get the girlie registered with a clinic before we move.

She will be stabled on Canvey Island to start with until i get myself set up and find my feet.

Any idea's?

Also, where is a hospital that they are refereed to for anything major, for instance, where we are at the moment in Surrey my vets refer to Liphook, would it be Newmarket, to the animal health trust??

I know i am probably jumping the gun a bit but i like to be prepared and have everything in place so should anything happen i know i'm covered

Although i dont live in Essex anymore i know most people use House and Jackson i think its called around the canvey/basildon kind of area.

House and Jackson have a good reputation. They are based in Blackmore near Ingatestone, I think they do have a lot of referal cases but I know from experience that they use Rossdale for things they don't have equipment for. Their website is www.houseandjackson.co.uk. Hope this helps
 
Hi I use Blaircourt and they are based in South Woodham Ferrers, they seem to have been good for me so far, and have a well equipped surgery. Never had to have a referral (touch wood) so don;t know about that.
 
Paton and Lee have a branch practice in Thundersley near Canvey. Call out fee's are charged from there.
I highly recommend them

The main surgery is in Rivenhall near Witham.

Rossdales and AHT in newmarket are close referral centers and and also RVC is off the M25 at Potters Bar.
