Yup - and I've seen astonishing results.
My OH's 19yo creaky, high mileage TB who's had hocks and SI injections was on a bute every other day and although his brain was willing his body was struggling. He toe dragged on the right hind and was just looking like retirement was looming.
We bought Vertroflex and Vetrofen Intense at Badminton. Did the loading dose for 2 weeks and he looked better, a couple of months down the line and he is the soundest he's been in years, so sound infact I am having a dressage lesson on him today as my own horse isn't right. He's jumping again a couple of times a week, has been xc schooling and is getting stronger and stronger in his body now he is so much more comfortable. He's also bouncing about like a 5yo.
It's cost a small fortune but we're hoping we can reduce the Vetrofen to only every second day, or less, in the coming weeks. TBH though it's made such a HUGE difference I'll pay whatever it costs to see him looking, moving and feeling so well.
